Ellen Witzlsperger: Citizen of the Year

On Tuesday 16th January the Hills Shire Council hosted their Annual Australia Day Awards at the Pioneer Theatre in Castle Hill.

Amongst a vast number of nominees for Citizen of the Year, our Service Director Ellen Witzlsperger was nominated for Citizen of the Year for her work and commitment to inclusion within our local community.

A heartfelt congratulations to Ellen for being honoured as the winner of Citizen of the Year 2024!

Ellen’s dedication and passion shine through in everything that she does and the Stronger Together Foundation team are honoured to be able to work beside her everyday.

We would like to acknowledge all of the winners and nominees on the day for their contribution to the Hills Shire Council.

Special thanks to Dr Peter Gangemi, Mayor of the Hills Shire Council for presenting the awards and recognising the outstanding contributions of individuals like Ellen.
