About the program
This playgroup provides parents and young children with opportunities to play, learn, and connect together. Therapists build the capacity of parents to support their child’s development during everyday activities.
Objectives
- Help children join in group routines and activities.
- Support children to play and interact with other children.
- Help parents understand their child’s development.
- Teach parents simple strategies to use at home.
- Give parents a chance to connect with other families.
Who Should Attend
- Children up to 4 years old
- Children who have developmental delays, autism, or are neurodivergent.
- A parent or caregiver must attend with the child.
