At the Stronger Together Foundation, we know that looking after our team is just as important as looking after the families we support. Every now and then, it’s important to press pause, celebrate our achievements, and simply enjoy spending time together.
This year’s Christmas in July celebration did exactly that.
With a Winter Wonderland theme, our team gathered for an evening filled with laughter, connection and plenty of festive fun at Teppanyaki. It was the perfect opportunity to swap therapy sessions and meetings for good food, great company and a little friendly competition.
The festivities kicked off with a couple of Christmas-themed games, including Pin the Nose on Olaf and a hilarious round of Christmas Carol Emojis, with plenty of laughs as everyone put their festive knowledge to the test.
We also took the opportunity to recognise some incredible milestones within our team, presenting staff service awards to celebrate the dedication and commitment of those who continue to make a difference in the lives of the children and families we support.
Of course, dinner at Teppanyaki wouldn’t be complete without flying food, impressive chef tricks and lots of laughter around the grill. The interactive dining experience had everyone smiling from start to finish.
And because no Stronger Together Foundation celebration would be complete without it, the night wrapped up with our much-loved Bad Santa gift exchange before the microphones came out for karaoke, singalongs and plenty of dancing.
Our culture has always been built on connection, kindness and having fun together. Nights like these remind us that the relationships we build as colleagues are just as important as the work we do every day. When we support one another, celebrate together and take time to recharge, we’re better equipped to support the children and families who rely on us.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise another fantastic evening. Here’s to more laughter, more memories and many more celebrations together.
