Kidz Club
What is Kidz Club?
Kidz Club is an exciting opportunity for children to engage with similar-aged peers in activities such as music and movement, crafts, games and cooking. Groups will be semi-structured, with many child-led opportunities to incorporate their preferences and creative expression.
We welcome children who use alternate forms of communication (including device users), as programs are inclusive to support all communication needs.
Objectives
- Communicate preferences and make choices about activities and themes
- Learn new skills, such as cooking, craft, gardening, dance, sports and more
- Socialise with other school-aged peers
Who should attend this program?
Kidz Club is designed for school children who are currently enrolled in grades from kindergarten to year 4 and who have a developmental disability or neurodivergent needs.
When and where does it run?
- Thursdays, 3.30pm–5.00pm (NSW school terms only)
Who runs the program?
The program is delivered by a transdisciplinary team of:
- special educators
- speech therapists
- occupational therapists
- behaviour support specialists
- therapy assistants
