Stronger Together Conference
Stronger Together Conference – the power of connection
Connection has always been at the heart of the Stronger Together Foundation. We believe that when families, carers, professionals and the wider community come together, they feel more empowered, informed and supported on their journey.
The Stronger Together Conference was created to bring people together in a meaningful way. It provides a space where parents and carers can access valuable information, connect with local services and support providers, hear from inspiring speakers, and share experiences with others who truly understand the challenges and triumphs of raising and supporting children with disability, developmental delays and neurodivergence.
Our fourth annual Stronger Together Conference was held on Saturday 16 August 2025 at Visy Dior Norwest. The event welcomed families, professionals, educators and service providers from across the community for a day focused on connection, learning and belonging.
The program featured a range of inspiring speakers and lived-experience panels, including keynote speaker Sarah Hayden, author of Parenting Different, Paralympian and inclusion advocate Julie Charlton, local families sharing their stories, and experts from across the therapy and disability sectors. Guests also connected with more than 30 exhibitors, explored local supports and services, and contributed to our Canvas of Connection, a collaborative artwork symbolising the strength of community.
A special highlight of the day was the first-ever Inclusive Talent Showcase, celebrating the creativity, individuality and talents of young people in our community. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of creating spaces where every person has the opportunity to shine.
The Stronger Together Conference continues to be more than just an event. It is a place where connections are built, stories are shared, and families leave feeling supported, inspired and part of a community that truly understands.
We look forward to welcoming everyone again in 2027.
