School holidays are a chance to spend time together, but finding an activity that works for the whole family can take some planning. Different interests, sensory preferences and support needs all play a part.
On Thursday 8 October, Stronger Together Foundation welcomed families to Inflatable World Dural for another evening of bouncing, climbing and play. With exclusive use of the venue and a sensory breakout space available, children could join in at their own pace and take a break when they needed one.
This time, we’re reflecting on what these events offer siblings. Brothers and sisters are an important part of our community, and creating opportunities for them to enjoy an outing together matters. Each child deserves to be included and have their own fun, with room for different ways of participating.
For parents and carers, having the whole family welcome in one place can also make planning an outing a little easier. The venue, the arrangements and the people around them all help shape that experience.
That’s why we continue to make these events part of our calendar. Families need regular opportunities to spend time together, enjoy their local community and make shared memories.
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Thursday. We loved welcoming your families and look forward to seeing you at another event soon.
