Dear Fit Kidz Foundation families and supporters,
We hope this message finds you and your family well and looking forward to an exciting 2024.
The purpose of our letter today is to share some information about the future direction of the Fit Kidz Foundation.
Whilst it has given us much joy over the last fifteen years, we have realised that the time is right to give the Foundation its own identity separate to “Fit Kidz”, and also for us to step away from the board and governance of the ongoing operations. This decision was not made lightly and has come with much emotion, but primarily with gratitude and tremendous appreciation.
The establishment of the Foundation alongside our Fit Kidz Learning Centres was a long-term dream of ours, and to have been witness to its growth has been a great joy for which we will be forever thankful. We were supporting 15 families when the Foundation was established and now more than 160 families access the Foundation each year.
We thank you and so many families over the years who have trusted us with the wellbeing of your children, and so many supporters willing to embrace our vision and do whatever they can to help make a difference. Thank you doesn’t seem to adequately cover our gratitude.
Our departure certainly doesn’t represent an end. Under a new name, Ellen will continue to be the Service Director and we are excited for the future under Ellen’s leadership. Ellen and her team are preparing to relocate to a new premises and have so many wonderful initiatives and new projects coming up for families and children.
We know Ellen and the wonderful Foundation team will commit themselves to carrying forward the vision we have always had – to support ALL children to reach their potential and for their families to feel a true sense of community. This has made our decision easier.
As a result of this change, the Fit Kidz Foundation will:
- change its name from Fit Kidz Foundation to Stronger Together Foundation
- appoint a new Board, of which current Service Director, Ellen Witzlsperger, will be the Executive Director
- be relocating to a new premises at 16/5-7 Anella Ave, Castle Hill, from Monday 15th April, 2024.
We want to assure everyone that the Stronger Together Foundation will continue to offer the same vital supports, programs, and services to families in the community, maintain the current team of passionate and committed staff, and continue to hold fundraising and community engagement events.
And most importantly, the organisation remains a not-for-profit charity with the same continued vision and purpose: to ensure that every child’s development is nurtured by the community to ensure they reach their potential.

Lastly, your generosity has helped enable us to provide children with opportunities they may never have otherwise had. Through your contributions of faith, trust, effort and money, we have witnessed the transformative power of community connection in shaping bright and hopeful futures.
Together, we have made a difference in the lives of so many, and for that, we cannot thank you enough. We also look forward to continuing our connection with the Foundation through various events and the connection the Foundation will continue to have with the Fit Kidz Learning Centres.
