Therapy Assistant

What to expect: 

Sessions with our occupational or speech therapy assistants are conducted by therapy assistants who are supervised by qualified therapists. Therapy assistants are final-year students who have completed training or a placement at the Stronger Together Foundation. The therapy assistant will work in collaboration with you and the supervising therapist to develop and implement an individualised therapy plan. Our team will work in collaboration with other services (e.g., educators) to support your child’s therapy goals. 

Your first session will be a 60-minute session with both the therapy assistant and supervising therapist to discuss goals and priorities for therapy. Subsequent sessions are conducted by the therapy assistant. If you or the therapy assistant feel that it would be beneficial for the supervising therapist to attend a session, this session will be billed at the therapist rate.
