At the Stronger Together Foundation, celebrating people is what we do best and that includes our incredible team. To wrap up the year, we swapped therapy rooms for trainers, festive outfits and a whole lot of laughter at our Christmas Party, featuring a Christmas Adventure Quest around Norwest.
And yes… it was exactly as fun (and competitive) as it sounds.
Four Teams. One Festive Mission.
We split into four teams, each bringing their own Christmas spirit and strategy to the quest:
- The Ho Ho Go’s
- The MissletOTes
- The Christmas Carols
- The Green Grouches
Now the big question…
Which team was your favourite therapist on?
Or better yet, can you spot your therapist in the photos below?
What Is a Christmas Adventure Quest?
Run by MAS Adventure Quest, the Christmas Edition Adventure Quest blends team building, technology and festive fun into one high-energy outdoor experience.
Using an interactive app, teams navigated GPS-activated checkpoints across Norwest, unlocking a mix of challenges along the way. Think Christmas-inspired trivia, creative photo and video tasks, problem-solving activities and surprise challenges that popped up when least expected.
It’s part scavenger hunt, part Amazing Race, and completely engaging from the moment the first task went live. Every decision, laugh and slightly questionable strategy choice earned points, with teams racing the clock to climb the leaderboard.
The result? Non-stop laughs, a bit of healthy rivalry, and plenty of moments we’ll be talking about well into the new year.
From the Quest to the Table
After the final challenge was completed and the points were tallied, we swapped the outdoors for a long table at Il Lago, where the celebrations continued over a shared dinner.
Of course, no Stronger Together Christmas celebration would be complete without a round of Bad Santa. Gifts were swapped, stolen and fiercely protected, with plenty of laughs and a few playful protests along the way. It was chaotic in the best possible way and a clear reminder that our team embraces fun just as much as they do teamwork.
Employee of the Year… Drum Roll Please
One of the most special moments of the evening was announcing our Employee of the Year.
And for the second year running, the award went to Anne Houghton.
Anne’s dedication, professionalism and care for the children, families and her colleagues make a lasting impact every single day. Congratulations, Anne.
More Than a Christmas Party
What made the day truly special wasn’t just the challenges or the dinner, it was the connection. Events like this give us space to step away from busy schedules, strengthen relationships and celebrate the people who make our work possible.
At Stronger Together Foundation, we believe people do their best work when they feel valued, supported and part of something meaningful.
